In Vietnam, Da Lat is one of popular tourist destinations. At 1,500m (4,900ft) on Langbiang Plateau - a part of Central Highlands - Da Lat has a year-round cool weather, its temperate weather stands in contrast to Vietnam’s otherwise tropical climate. Mist covering the valleys almost year-round leads to its name “City of eternal spring”. Other specific signs are: pine wood, twisting roads with marigold, flower industry, many kinds of jam (strawberry, mulberry, sweet potato, rose...).

Mai Linh. We prefer Phuong Trang. The bus starts almost every hour. This current time (12/2011), it costs 180,000VND/ticket and it takes about 6,5hrs to get there.
